Meet Joan Bragar, EdD
Dr. Joan Bragar coaches high-performing men and women to reach the results that are most important to them. She has coached high performers for more than twenty-five years and served as an executive coach at Harvard Business School.
She is the author of Leading for Results, Five Practices to Use in Your Personal and Professional Life and Never Too Late for Love, The Successful Woman’s Guide to Online Dating in the Second Half of Life.
Joan teaches leadership at the Boston University School of Public Health and has designed and taught leadership in corporations, universities, and ministries of health around the world.
She is the designer of the USAID Leadership Development Program (LDP) that has been delivered in health systems in more than fifty developing nations. This program has produced a myriad of health results, including reductions in maternal mortality.
The Global Center for Disease Control is now rolling out a version of the LDP for more effective pandemic response in Public Health Institutes around the world.
Joan is a certified relationship coach who helps men and women to find happy healthy love. She trained with Katherine Woodward Thomas, the family therapist and New York Times bestselling author of Calling in the One, and Conscious Uncoupling.
She understands the challenges that older people face when they want to bring a loving partner into their lives. Joan faced these challenges herself when she was divorced at age 57. She happily married a loving man whom she met on Match.com. They shared an active life that included children and grandchildren.
She earned her AB, EdM and EdD degrees from Harvard University. Her research focused on the practices of high-performing leaders.
